How to Update the New Hope Church Calendar

Adding events to the calender is easy! All changes are made right from the Calendar Page

Instructions:

• First, go to the New Hope Calendar Page,
• scroll to the day that you want to add an event for,
• then click on the day's number

(In the example below, the number: 1 to enter events for Monday, or: 2 to enter events for Tuesday, or: 3 for Wednesday, etc.)

Clicking on the day brings up a list of the days events.

 

Create	Daily Events for Wednesday, August 7, 2006
Edit	7:30p Choir Practice
Edit	6:30p Bible study

• Click the Create link to get to a new event entry form.
• Type in your event text and designate a start time, (Pop up text, colors, etc. are optional)
• then click the [Submit] button.

Your new events will then be shown to anyone that accesses your calendar!

Event Types:
There are three different types of events that you can add to your calendars:
Daily These are events that occur for a single day
Duration These are events that happen over a period of time, such as a conference or a vacation
Periodic These are events that happen periodically, such as a Wednesday Choir practice every week or a payday that happens on the 15th and 30th of each month
